Alicia Brozovich, St. Benedict Parish Director of Music

Alicia received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theology from Benedictine College in 2009. While studying abroad during her last semester in college, she formed and directed an a cappella choir of students in Florence, Italy. The choir was blessed to have provided music for the English liturgy on the anniversary of the dedication of Santa Maria del Fiore (Il Duomo) in Florence at the request of Rev. Mario Portello. The choir also had the opportunity to perform for Cardinal Burke in Vatican City, Italy. After graduation, Alicia helped form and direct the liturgical choir at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Atchison. She has served as the music director for several musicals at the Cultural Arts Center at Longview Community College, and has assisted with the music direction of several Opera Workshop classes at Benedictine College. Currently, she is studying conducting under Dr. Anthony Maglione, is a member of the Kansas City Symphony Chorus, and is happy to be serving the Catholic community in Atchison as the Director of Music at St. Benedict Parish.
