Ways you can serve your Parish and Community

Volunteer

  • A volunteer opportunity to serve the hungry in Atchison. Volunteers shop for ingredients and then come together and make meals for the homebound in our community every 6-7 weeks.

  • This organization organizes the Life Chain, walking in parades, signing people up to vote, organizing the baby bottle fundraiser, saying the Divine Mercy chaplet, and the Rosary on the first Sunday of the month.

  • Help with picking up donuts/juice, set up, clean up, collecting donations, and anything else that needs to happen to put on a successful and engaging event.

  • Drop off a meal to our priests on Tuesday evenings (or drop off snacks or desserts any other day!).

  • Help to prepare food, set up, clean up, serve food, or donate funds to serve our parishioners and their families.

  • Help those who can not drive for short or long-term periods of time get to Mass and run other errands (grocery store, bank, doctors appointments, etc...).

Know someone who needs help getting places? Call the Parish Office to get them on our list.

  • We are always looking for people to help keep all three of our church buildings clean and beautiful. These people help vacuum, dust, clean and stock the bathrooms (general cleaning and before wedding, funerals, or other special events).

  • A group of dedicated parishioners to visit and spend time with those who are home bound. Our homebound parishioners love when people drop in to say "Hi!"

  • Help count the Sunday Collection and prepare the deposit after Mass.
